just to add to that first post, i felt like i had to separate this entry from the one before- seeing how the first is full of "lessons" and such and well.. this is about ... my best mate Jonas' bachelor party!

man ... mas that a party or what!? well firstly, we hit the pub pretty early to get our special mate jona un-sober. along with our usual posse (mself, chris, alex and nath) jeremy antho & buddy (kirsty's brother) came with as well.

just to keep this post short, ill let you know the highlights ?

- alcohol
- strippers
- more alcohol
- more strippers
- even more alcohol
- even more strippers

ahahahhahaha. it could quite possibly the best night of my life, until my own bachelor bash ofcourse!

cheers to 8 years of friendship, jonas! wish you all the best with kirsty. i know youse are both made for each other and just-- thank you both! we've been friends since high school. i still cant believe what kirsty saw in ya mate, but to be marrying at this ripe age of just 21 ?! nowadays, people just call that love. (some may call it stupidity, but clearly theyve never met the two of youse. you cant get your hands off each other. now, HURRY UP WITH THE WEDDING, MAKE BABIES AND MAKE ME AN UNCLE ALREADY!

first live journal post- yay. well, im not all too sure how this works .. do i just log in and type whatever is on my mind? whatever just happened? meh. we'll see. well. here's a memorable occurance (if you can call it that) that happened just a few days ago ..
well, glad to know many of us remember our manners still. i was down at the local cafe last week and a much younger teen just pushed in the line, right infront of me may i add ... it was hella annoying, ofcourse! and im not that kind of person who likes conflict and confrontation (call it being a coward, who gives a shit, whatever) but oh man, how i wanted to smack his head during that moment ... tut, tut, tut.

however, much to my satisfaction, yesterday, at the same cafe (americano's were on special!?) the same boy recognised me and apologised for the occurance last week and notified me that he wasnt sure i was actually in line until he was finished ordering. we had a nice chat about other things and im glad things turned out fine in the end.

moreover, when i was on my way back from the cafe to my loft, i saw a young man, aged probably like myself- 20's. he was blind. ive not had much experience with any disable persons but this fellow was clearly uncomfortable. he was all alone and was in the middle of busy downtown area. i had to help him. as i walked towards him, i eyed a couple of bystanders whipering and just simply staring at the poor guy. how can they do that?! when i finally reached him, i asked him if there was any way i could help him and he just clutched my hand and said "please help me". he told me he was lost and needed to find his sister. the guy was wearing sunglasses, but i could tell he was asian. or maybe, half, at least. anyway. i offered to call one of his relatives and took him back up to the cafe (which was near by) and waited for his sister. when she arrived, he jumped up and said "nuna!" and they hugged and tears started forming, even on my own pair. it was truly an relief to see his sister. by the way, because im korean and he addressed his sister as "nuna" i realised he was korean also! i had a doubt he was krn XD. my knowledge of korean isnt 100% noono, but i know enough to make small talk, i guess. (but i have a funny accent lol)

to conclude my first post, i realised that the world is a cruel and scary place indeed. when / if you are blind, like the young man i met, he didn't see the strangers eyeing him like he didnt belong in this world. imagine if he could see, like us.. it makes this world scarier and more cruel, does it not?
